Supporting Affordable Housing
Unstable housing can have a direct and lasting effect on a person’s health. Building upon ongoing and existing work to improve the health and well-being of our Charlotte community, Atrium Health has committed $10 million toward affordable housing. This investment will enhance the quality of life of our community members, including our own teammates.
Additionally, Atrium Health will embed health and social services into housing investments in partnership with Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC). LISC is 1 of the 5 contract awardees of Fannie Mae’s Sustainable Communities Innovation Challenge, an open competition exploring innovative ideas that help address the affordable housing crisis in America.
