Satisfy a Sweet Tooth With Chocolate Banana Boats

Watch our video to learn how to make a dessert that’s sweet, chocolatey and nutritious.

Just because you’re committed to health doesn’t mean you have to say no to dessert! These chocolate banana boats are just the thing to satisfy a sweet tooth. Bananas are great for digestion, heart health and weight loss; dark chocolate is bursting with age-defying antioxidants; and coconut flakes contain protein, fiber, iron and zinc. The best part? This three-ingredient dessert takes mere minutes to make. Ingredients:
  • Unpeeled bananas (one for each person)
  • Dark chocolate, cut into squares
  • Coconut flakes, to taste
Directions: Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Keeping the skin on, split bananas lengthwise, squeezing slightly to open them up. Sprinkle in dark chocolate and coconut flakes to taste. Wrap each individual banana boat in tinfoil and put on a baking tray. Bake 25 minutes. Unwrap and enjoy! Here’s a video that shows you how to make them:
