On National Doctor's Day, Take Time to Thank a Physician

Every day, physicians at Atrium Health work to improve health, elevate hope and advance healing -- for all. On National Doctor's Day, take time to thank a physician for all that they do to take care of our communities.

At our most vulnerable physical, emotional and mental health moments – whether you've broken a bone, contracted an illness or are preparing to have a baby – physicians are there for us, providing the highest quality of care with a compassionate touch. Now more than ever, we want to show our doctors our appreciation for the countless hours they have dedicated to improve health, elevate hope and advance healing - for all.

This year, National Doctor’s Day is Monday, March 30. So, from the nurses, advanced clinical providers, staff and administration that are proud to work with you and the patients that choose you for your care, your hard work is recognized and appreciated.

Thank you!

About Doctor’s Day

This holiday was officially declared by the late President George H.W. Bush in 1990 to recognize the hard work and dedication physicians provide our communities every day. The proclamation read:

“All those Americans who serve as licensed physicians have engaged in years of study and training, often at great financial cost. Most endure long and unpredictable hours, and many must cope with the conflicting demands of work and family life.”
