Description

Gelli Printing: Explore the creative possibilities of Gelli printing! We will gather inspiration from birds in developing composition and visual symbolism. All materials are provided.


 

Directions:

LCI is located on the 5th Floor of the 5000 wing of Atrium Health-University. (This is the last section of the hospital, facing W.T. Harris, closest to the Charlotte/Mecklenburg County Library.)

Andrea Sowle

Andrea is and artist-in-residence at Levine Cancer Institute, serving at the Cabarrus and University locations, and through virtual classes. She encourages patients, staff, care-partners, and community members to use the creative process as therapy and a means of social connection. Andrea also enjoys gardening and spending time with family and friends around a campfire and playing games.

No. All experiences are welcome! Andrea will provide instruction based on your level of experience.

Are materials included?

Yes. All materials are provided.

Can I bring a loved one?  

Yes. Care-partners are welcome to attend. Registration is required for each person attending.

Can a loved one attend without a patient? 

Yes. Patients are not required to attend with the care-partner. Registration is required for everyone attending.
