Tai Chi for Health, Arthritis, and Fall Prevention
Virtually via Teams
Description
Tai Chi is a gentle form of exercise that used slow, fluid movements to help improve wellbeing, both physical and spiritual. It is a form of moving meditation. Our instructor, Kathleen Iannucci, is Certified by the Tai Chi for Health Institute. This class is recommended by the National Council on Aging to relieve pain and improve health and balance.
Please check the Class Registration page before each class for announcements and notices for any changes to the schedule.
By registering for this class, you agree that you are physically able to participate and have consulted with your physician if necessary. You agree that you will have your camera on for your own safety and so the instructor can observe and provide feedback if needed.
This program can be performed in a chair or standing. It is recommended to practice near a counter or a stable surface if your balance is unsteady.
By registering for and participating in this hybrid (virtual and in person) class, I acknowledge and voluntarily accept the risks associated with physical activity. I understand that yoga and Tai Chi may involve gentle movement, stretching, and balance work, and I agree to participate at my own pace and within my own comfort level. I release Atrium Health Levine Cancer and its instructors from liability for any injury that may occur during or as a result of my participation.
