Vice Chair of Quality
Dionisios (Dennis) Vrochides, MD, PhD, is a general surgeon and vice chair of quality and outcomes for Atrium Health’s Department of Surgery. He’s also the vice president of the ERAS International Society, USA Chapter.
Dr. Vrochides received his medical degree from Aristotle University, his MS in Liver Physiology from Uppsala University and his PhD in liver transplantation from Aristotle University. He then completed his general surgery residency at Brown University, followed by his fellowship in hepatopancreatobiliary and transplant surgery at McGill University. Dr.Vrochides has authored or co-authored over 120 published manuscripts and book chapters.
