Dr. Copelan has spent almost 30 years at the forefront of oncology research. Named a Top Doctor by U.S. News and World Report, Dr. Copelan has served as attending physician at the Cleveland Clinic’s department of Hematologic Oncology and Blood Disorders. He has also held numerous academic positions at The Ohio State University Hospitals, including professor of medicine, director of the bone marrow transplantation program and director of the James Cancer Hospital Bone Marrow Transplant Laboratory. As a distinguished clinician, researcher and educator, Dr. Copelan has published more than 350 articles and abstracts in peer-reviewed journals.
