J. Michael Robinson

Chief, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

J. Michael Robinson, MD, is a plastic surgeon at Atrium Health. Receiving his Doctor of Medicine from Jefferson Medical College, he served his plastic surgical residency at Medical University of South Carolina. Previously, he was a general surgeon resident at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh where he received the Albert G. Marrangoni Award, a resident research honor.

Focusing on reconstructive surgery, including surgery for traumatic, neoplastic and congenital defects, he has a special interest in microvascular reconstruction for defects of the head and neck, trunk, and extremities.
