NC Poison Control, part of Atrium Health, is the official poison control center for North Carolina. The center offers free emergency help for various poisoning situations. Nurses, pharmacists and physicians handle the calls at NC Poison Control. Services are confidential, free and available 24/7.

In many cases, an emergency room visit can be prevented by calling NC Poison Control first.
