Aashna Jain is a board-certified physician assistant who focuses on gastroenterology.

She chose her specialty because the complexity of the digestive system fascinates her. The gastrointestinal tract plays a crucial role in overall health. Understanding how it functions and why it sometimes doesn’t is intellectually stimulating and rewarding for her.

Jain received a bachelor’s degree in exercise and sport science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, playing racquetball and exploring the Charlotte area with her fiancé and 2 dogs.
