Liu is a board-certified physician assistant. She specializes in pediatric cardiothoracic surgery.
She is president of the Metrolina Association of Physician Assistants (MAPA).
Liu had a terrible injury as a teenager, but fortunately met a fantastic physician assistant mentor who helped her fulfill her dream career as a PA. She feels honored to work with an amazing team and strong young heart patients. She loves every minute of her job, from discussing patients, to the intricate details of surgery, to seeing patients walk out of the hospital.
She received her physician assistant training at Campbell University and completed a fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital.
She and her husband, Bo, are avid runners and met at a running club. She has completed several marathons and loves being outdoors playing with their bernedoodle, Barley. She’s a Charlotte native and enjoys spending time with her extended family.
