Dr. Abhinav Katti is board certified in neurology with a specialty in vascular neurology.
His areas of expertise include stroke and other cerebrovascular diseases, seizures and demyelinating and inflammatory conditions relating to the brain and spinal cord.
Dr. Katti chose neurology because it perfectly combines his interests in anatomy and psychology. As an undergraduate neuroscience major, he developed a fascination with the brain and spinal cord, which only deepened during medical school. He enjoys working collaboratively with patients to solve complex medical puzzles.
He was the recipient of the Health Excellence in Scholarship Resident Award from UC Davis Health, which was given to the resident most committed to scholarly activity.
Dr. Katti received his bachelor’s degree in neuroscience at the University of Michigan and his degree in osteopathic medicine at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed residency in neurology at UC Davis Health and a fellowship in vascular neurology at the Cedars-Sinai Health System.
Outside of work, he cherishes spending time with his wife and daughter. Dr. Katti is a passionate sports enthusiast and cheers for the University of Michigan football team, the Detroit Lions and the Detroit Pistons. He loves staying active playing basketball, tennis, pickleball and golf.
