Lever is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in family medicine. She has clinical interests in preventive care, holistic care and the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes. She started her physician assistant career in inpatient hospital medicine but longed for the continuity of care and lasting relationships often built in family medicine.
She completed her undergraduate degree at Queens University of Charlotte and her physician assistant training at Wingate University.
Lever spends most of her free time with her husband, Jeff, and their 2 boys, Noah and Eli. She has a large extended family in the area, and she enjoys spending time with them as well. One of her favorite pastimes is maintaining and enjoying her koi pond, which is home to over a dozen colorful koi.
