Biography
“My goal is to make a difference in the lives and health of patients I serve.”
Dr. Hudson is board certified in internal medicine. He is the president of the Charlotte Medical Clinic, the chair of the Atrium Health Credentials Committee, a member of the Primary Care Executive Committee and a clinical professor of medicine at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill School of Medicine.
He is a senior aviation medical examiner for the Federal Aviation Administration and a fellow of the American College of Physicians. He has won the Top Doctor Award from Charlotte Magazine multiple times.
He received his medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed his residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.
Dr. Hudson enjoys spending time with his 3 daughters and has a number of interests outside of work. He is a commercial, multi-engine, instrument-rated pilot and he enjoys woodworking, skydiving, scuba diving, ice skating, kayaking, marksmanship, running and photography. He also enjoys reading, especially thrillers and books on submarine warfare as well automotive repair.
