Biography
“The most rewarding part of my job is improving my patients’ quality of life and health. I believe in treating all people equally and providing exceptional, cost-effective medical care.”
Dr. Reine is board certified in urology. He practices general urology and uses the latest medical technology to treat many common urologic problems. His interests include the treatment and management of stone disease, female urinary incontinence, prostate enlargement (BPH), bladder and prostate cancers, as well as "No Needle" Vasectomy.
He is the chief of surgery at Atrium Health Lincoln and the site leader at Atrium Health McKay Urology - Lincoln.
He chose urology because it combines both surgical and medical aspects of practice. Patients can generally be cured of their conditions or experience significant improvement, resulting in both patient and physician satisfaction. Providing patients with the appropriate information to make sound medical decisions is a hallmark of his practice. He feels it’s important to order appropriate testing and procedures and to avoid unnecessary testing.
Dr. Reine is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University, his medical degree from Louisiana State University and completed his residency at Tulane University.
Outside of work, he enjoys DIY home projects, watching documentaries, scuba diving, traveling, home theaters and home automation and watching his favorite NFL team, the New Orleans Saints. He spends as much time as possible with his fraternal twins, a son, and a daughter.
