Biography

Dr. Chojecki is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology (cancer and blood disorders). He focuses on treating different types of blood cancers, including myeloproliferative disorders (MPN), polycythemia vera (PV), essential thrombocytosis (ET), myelofibrosis (MF), myelodysplasia (MDS), acute leukemia (AML and ALL), chronic leukemia (CLL, CML and CMML), eosinophilic syndromes, mastocytosis, multiple myeloma and lymphoma (Hodgkin’s and non-Hodgkin’s). He also specializes in bone marrow transplants and CAR-T immunotherapy.
Dr. Chojecki is a faculty physician in the Atrium Health Department of Blood Disorders and Cellular Therapy. Originally working as a researcher, he discovered through his studies that his work could have a greater impact through the practice of hematology and oncology.
Dr. Chojecki received his medical degree at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. He completed residency at Drexel University and a fellowship at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. He is fluent in Polish.
He is married with 2 children. In his free time, Dr. Chojecki enjoys exercising and traveling locally and abroad with his family. His interests include non-fiction books, astronomy and classic cars.
