Dr. Alexa Woods is trained in pediatrics. She has always loved children and knew that she wanted to work with them every day. Combining her love for children with an interest in science and medicine is what led her to pediatrics.
She received her medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed a residency in pediatrics at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.
When she’s not working, Dr. Woods loves hiking with her goldendoodle, June. Her goal is to hike all of the U.S. National Parks. She also enjoys reading and musical theater.
