I love getting to know patients and their families. It’s incredibly fulfilling to make a meaningful difference in my patients’ lives, serving as a dependable partner and advocate for achieving their best health.
I’m a board-certified family nurse practitioner. My clinical interests are in family practice, primary care, preventive care, and acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan.
I was the main author of a health care quality improvement project titled, "Text Messaging to Improve Medication Adherence: Hypertension Management in Primary Care,” which was submitted to the Journal of Doctoral Nursing Practice.
I received my master’s and doctorate degrees in nursing at Duke University.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking and creating new recipes, caring for my many plants, organizing, bingeing my favorite TV shows, hiking with my husband and spending time with family.
