Alexis Zebrowski is a board-certified family nurse practitioner.
She became inspired to study medicine by her mother, who was an emergency department nurse. Zebrowski values the way health care provides her with opportunities to combine her medical knowledge and nurturing attitude in the care of others.
Her research interests include increasing colorectal cancer screening rates in rural populations.
Zebrowski received her bachelor’s degree in nursing at James Madison University and her master’s degree in nursing at Georgetown University. She completed an Atrium Health Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship.
Outside of work, she enjoys fitness, concerts, trying new restaurants, exploring boutiques and traveling, especially to the beach. Zebrowski loves to spend time with her family.
