Almond is a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner who focuses on treating orthopedic trauma.
She values each opportunity to obtain lifelong learning and work with an exceptional team.
Almond practiced orthopedic post-surgical nursing for more than 8 years prior to her career advancement. She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a master’s degree in nursing at Walden University.
She is married with 2 sons. They enjoy spending their free time hiking, backpacking, paddling and maintaining their family's farm.
