Allie Wilson is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in emergency general surgery.
She formerly served as the director of the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Surgical Clerkship for the Department of General Surgery at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.
Wilson is the recipient of several awards from Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, including the Excellence in Clinical Medicine Award, the Physician Assistant Education Association PA Educator of The Year Award and the Wake Forest PA School Preceptor of the Year Award.
She received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Kettering College.
Away from work, Wilson enjoys spending time with family, friends and her dog. She likes reading, running, hiking and all water-based activities, especially swimming, water skiing and wakeboarding. Her other interests include cooking, exploring new restaurants and traveling.
