Amanda Moran Lanier, MD

It brings me joy to have an impact on a child or their family that yields positive results. My goal is for every patient to feel comfortable and empowered to engage in their health care at every age!

I knew as a teen I wanted to study medicine, and I was drawn to the unique doctor-patient-family relationship in pediatrics. With a whole-child approach to care, I value the challenge of engaging children and teens while also relating to their parents.

I am board certified in pediatrics. I specialize in the management of acute and chronic illnesses in children.

I am the medical director of Atrium Health Levine Children's Perspective Pediatrics. I have been awarded Pediatrician of the Year from Atrium Health Pineville and named a Top Doctor by Charlotte, SouthPark and Business North Carolina magazines. CharlotteSmartyPants.com awarded me with the Smarty Award for Best Pediatrician.

I received my medical degree at West Virginia University and completed residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.

I am married with two sons. In my free time, I enjoy baking, reading, fashion, travel and trips to my family’s cattle farm in West Virginia. My non-profit activities include serving on the board of Together We Feed and WARD’S Foundation.
