Biography

Amii Steele is a licensed clinical psychologist who holds a doctoral degree. She specializes in treating children with cancer and blood disorders. She is chief of the Division of Pediatric Psychology & Neuropsychology at Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital.

She received her doctoral degree at Nova Southeastern University and completed her residency at Stanford University and a fellowship at Nationwide Children's Hospital.

Steele has a special interest in the psychological impact of cancer and blood disorders on children and their families. She enjoys helping them cope and develop resilience in the face of a challenging medical diagnosis.

She is married to her husband, Walt, and has 2 children, Charlotte and James. They love spending time outdoors, hiking, playing at the lake, exploring new areas and traveling.
