Dr. Shareef is board certified in general pediatrics.
She feels pediatricians are in a unique position to impact a child’s life for decades to come by providing exceptional medical care, guidance and advice. She loves her job and hopes she is making an impact on her patients’ futures through their brief interactions.
Even as a child, Dr. Shareef knew she wanted to work with children. She’s always had a passion for healthcare and helping people, so pediatrics was a natural choice for her. She learned from her own pediatrician about how to be an effective communicator.
Dr. Shareef received bachelor’s degrees in psychology and biology at the University of Virginia. She received her medical degree at Marshall University and completed residency at Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and finding new recipes.
