I’m often asked why I do this job. My answer is simple: hope. Hope for a cure. Hope for a better tomorrow for my patients, for my families and for others. As a nurse practitioner, I consider it a privilege to serve children and families.
I am a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner. I specialize in pediatric hematology and oncology (blood disorders and cancer), with a particular focus on pediatric neuro-oncology.
I received my master’s degree in nursing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two sons. We especially like skiing, going to the beach and fishing.
