Dr. Vega is board certified in pediatrics. She focuses on preventive medicine for newborns to young adults. She chose pediatrics because she enjoys following children from birth to early adulthood and empowering their parents to nurture their child’s growth and development.
Dr. Vega received her medical degree at the Universidad Libre de Colombia in Colombia. She completed residency at Texas Tech University. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).
Away from work, she enjoys walking or biking on local greenways and listening to music, library audiobooks or one of her favorite podcasts. She loves spending time with her husband and daughter, traveling, swimming and keeping up with their daughters' extracurricular activities.
