Ana C. Vega, MD

My belief is that all children deserve to grow up happy and healthy. Children are always changing and tend to bounce back quickly from illness and adversity. I enjoy guiding them to learn healthy habits they will carry throughout their lives.

I chose pediatrics because I enjoy following children from birth to early adulthood and empowering their parents to nurture their child’s growth and development.

I am board certified in pediatrics. I focus on preventive medicine for newborns to young adults.

I received my medical degree at the Universidad Libre de Colombia in Colombia. I completed residency at Texas Tech University.

Away from work, I enjoy walking or biking on local greenways and listening to music, library audiobooks or one of my favorite podcasts. I love spending time with my husband and daughter, traveling, swimming and keeping up with our daughter’s extracurricular activities.
