Moody is a board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner who specializes in internal medicine.
After a long career in finance, Moody decided to pursue nursing after interactions with hospice and palliative care team members. She feels this gives her a unique perspective because medicine was truly a choice for her, and one she has never regretted. She enjoys partnering with her patients, using a team approach to find the right care and treatments.
She received her master’s degree in nursing at Duke University.
She loves reading suspense novels and enjoys any type of crafting. She and her husband have a rescue dog that brings them much happiness.
