Dr. Nance is board certified in family medicine with an added certification in lifestyle medicine. He is the physician lead for the Cabarrus County Population Health at Atrium Health Cabarrus Family Medicine. He has received both the Servant Leadership Award and the Distinguished Service Award from the Atrium Health Cabarrus Family Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Nance’s certification in lifestyle medicine gives him a greater skill set to empower patients on their journeys toward better health. He feels family medicine provides him the best opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients and their loved ones.
He received his medical degree at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He completed his residency training at the Atrium Health Cabarrus Family Medicine Residency Program.
Outside of work, he and his wife enjoy nature walks and playing with their 2 cats. He also enjoys playing the piano, yardwork, and spending time on his back porch listening to the wind and the birds.
