“Newborns are a precious population that have no control over their prognosis or start in life. As clinicians in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), we have the opportunity to provide support, education and life-altering medical support that was not possible 30 years ago. I work with this population because of the hope I have for families and the ability to give every baby a chance at a healthy life.”
