Desai is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in internal medicine. She treats acute and chronic conditions, such as hypertension, diabetes, thyroid dysfunction and hyperlipidemia.
She received her physician assistant training at Lincoln Memorial University.
Her goal is to understand the various factors that affect a patient's well-being and overall health, whether they are environmental, genetic, physical, socioeconomic, cultural or personal. She aims to utilize this information to provide individualized treatments and preventive care.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, yoga, meditation, painting and playing musical instruments.
