Hargett is a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner. She specializes in cardiothoracic surgeries.
She has enjoyed working with cardiac and pulmonary patients since starting her career as a nurse in 1999. Her father passed away from cardiac disease, and this lit a passion in her to help patients and their families understand cardiac disease and treatments.
Hargett received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Gardner Webb University.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
