Dr. Lamanno is a licensed psychologist who specializes in mood disorders, including depression and anxiety, as well as adjustment disorders. She also works with families adjusting to developmental changes in parenting and behavioral challenges associated with impulse control disorders.
In addition to these areas, Dr. Lamanno has a special interest in working with adolescents and children as well as individuals who have autism spectrum disorders or intellectual disabilities. After growing up with a sibling who had special needs and working with children who had been removed from their homes due to behavioral problems, Dr. Lamanno knew she could improve coping skills for these children and their families.
Dr. Lamanno received her PhD at The Pennsylvania State University.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and 2 children. Dr. Lamanno also enjoys cycling, hiking, reading, trying new recipes and spending time at their neighborhood pool.
