Dr. Poursina is board certified in infectious disease and internal medicine. He specializes in treating viral and bacterial diseases and infections, with a focus on those affecting the spine, bones and joints, heart, liver, skin and soft tissue.
He values the rewards of practicing in an area of medicine where the field of knowledge is vast and challenging.
Dr. Poursina received his medical degree at Sri Siddhartha Medical College. He completed residency in internal medicine at Mercer University, where he received a Best in Academics award. He completed a fellowship in infectious disease at the University of South Carolina.
He is an avid reader. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, swimming, scuba diving and any activity related to water.
