I’m a board-certified family nurse practitioner. I focus on care for all ages and have a passion for serving people in rural communities. I received a DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses and an Atrium Health Values in Action Award.
I received my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
Outside of work, I'm a runner and half-marathon finisher, and I like playing coed slow-pitch softball and coaching my twin sons' baseball teams. My husband and I enjoy watching sports, especially the Atlanta Braves, the Carolina Panthers, the University of North Carolina Tar Heels and the Carolina Hurricanes. Additionally, I’m a Sunday school teacher and vacation bible school director at my church.
