Dr. Ashikaben Patel is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN). Conditions she treats include endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic pain and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). She manages low- and high-risk pregnancies and benign gynecologic pathologies (non-cancerous tissues), including those of the vulva and vagina. Additionally, she provides perimenopause and menopause care.
She was drawn to her practice specialty while studying physiology. The discovery that she could apply her knowledge to help women understand the biochemical and physical changes affecting them continues to motivate her.
Dr. Patel received her bachelor’s degree at Georgia Southern University and her degree in osteopathic medicine at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Georgia. She completed residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center, where she received a Rising Star Award from the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her daughter. They enjoy reading, going on long walks and exploring the world around them. Dr. Patel also plays tennis and likes to paint.
