“I believe every patient deserves to feel heard, supported and empowered in their health care journey. My commitment is to provide compassionate, attentive care rooted in evidence-based medicine, empathy and shared decision-making. Having been both a patient and a provider, I understand the value of clear communication and trust. My goal is to make each encounter meaningful and to ensure patients leave feeling more informed, cared for and in control of their health.”
Ashley Bliss is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine. She treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions affecting the hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, feet, ankles, knees and hips.
Her passion for orthopedics began in high school with a research project and has steadily grown through hands-on experience as an orthopedic medical secretary, scribe and assistant, culminating in her clinical rotations in PA school, where her passion was truly solidified.
Her interest lies in the integration of clinical reasoning, physical examination and imaging to diagnose injuries and develop personalized recovery plans. Beyond the clinical aspect, she values the opportunity to walk alongside patients in their healing journeys, supporting, listening and advocating every step of the way.
Bliss received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Away from work, she and her husband like hiking and exploring nature. Bliss enjoys baking everything from cookies and cakes to challenging herself with French pastries. Born and raised by the coast, she enjoys spending time on the beach, whether reading with her toes in the sand or swimming in the ocean to relax and recharge.
