Biography
“To create individualized care for women and couples during some of the most challenging and rewarding times in their lives is my passion. The field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility is a place where little miracles happen every day. It's an incredible honor and a privilege to get to do what I do every day.”
Dr. Ashley Eskew is double board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) and reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI). She specializes in infertility, egg freezing, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and recurrent pregnancy loss.
She was named a Top Doctor by Charlotte magazine and was a guest speaker on the As a Woman Podcast with Dr. Natalie Crawford and the ASRM Today podcast discussing nutrition and fertility.
Dr. Eskew’s research interests include investigating the impact of lifestyle factors, including diet and physical activity, on fertility and reproductive outcomes. Additionally, she has conducted research evaluating the reproductive tract microbiome in patients with infertility undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF). She has been published in top journals in the field, including Obstetrics & Gynecology, Fertility and Sterility and BJOG.
Dr. Eskew received her medical degree at the University of Louisville and completed her residency in OB/GYN at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center. She completed her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Washington University in St. Louis, where she also obtained her master’s degree in clinical investigation.
Outside of work, she loves to travel, hike, do yoga and spend time with friends and family.
