Dr. Ashley Guinn is board certified in emergency medicine. She focuses on hospice and palliative medicine (symptom relief and end-of-life care).
She was drawn to hospice and palliative care because it allows her to focus on the comfort, connection and dignity that matter most to patients and their families. Her work reminds her daily of the power of empathy, presence and listening.
Dr. Guinn received her bachelor’s degree at Lipscomb University and her medical degree at East Tennessee State University. She completed residency in emergency medicine at the University of Arizona and a fellowship in hospice and palliative care at the University of Nevada.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their retired racing greyhound dogs. They love all things outdoors, especially biking, hiking, running and skiing.
