Ashley Ham, DO

From a young age, I was drawn to working with children. I started out babysitting, began coaching swim teams and later tutored young children. When I decided medicine was my career choice, it was easy to know what specialty I was called to. I strive to be a caring motivator, even if only during short interactions once a year with my young patients. I also hope to be a compassionate healer during their trying times.

I’m board certified in pediatrics with a special interest in well-child care and the management of developmental and behavioral issues. I also have a clinical interest in the diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses in children.

I received my bachelor’s degree at the University of Notre Dame and my degree in osteopathic medicine at Lincoln Memorial University. I completed my residency at East Tennessee State University.

I’m married to an Atrium Health doctor, and we have two sons. We enjoy spending time at the lake, in the mountains and visiting Nashville, where I grew up. We also like going to sporting events and trying new restaurants. I look forward to caring for your child and being part of your family's healthcare journey.
