Dr. Patel is board certified in neurology, neuromuscular medicine, headache medicine and electrodiagnostic medicine. He has a clinical interest in the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular disease, headaches and migraines. He is the medical director for Atrium Health Neurology Ballantyne and Atrium Health Neurology Kenilworth.
He has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Charlotte magazine. He speaks English and Gujarati.
Dr. Patel received his medical degree at the Government Medical College in Surat, India. He completed a neurology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and a neuromuscular fellowship at Cleveland Clinic.
When not working, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his wife, Delia, his son, Akshay, and his daughter, Ashna. He also enjoys meeting friends, playing golf, reading books and traveling.
