Biography
“Autoimmune disorders can involve any organ system and can be quite challenging for a patient. Diagnosing and treating these conditions can be life-changing.”
Dr. Dayal is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology. He specializes in treating
autoimmune diseases, including Lupus, Sjogren’s syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, vasculitis and gout.
He finds it extremely fulfilling taking care of patients with inflammatory and systemic autoimmune disorders that can be very complex, often difficult to manage, and very stressful for the patient.
Dr. Dayal received his medical degree at Christian Medical College. He completed a residency and a fellowship at Wake Forest University. He previously worked as a medical volunteer with Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity in Kolkata, India.
He is married with 2 children. In his free time, his hobbies include running, hiking, gardening, woodworking, traveling and music.
