Dr. Asikhame Oikeh is board certified in family medicine. He focuses on treating people who are hospitalized.
He chose family medicine because it allows him to build long-term relationships with patients of all ages, address their diverse health needs holistically and make a lasting impact on the health of individuals and the community.
Dr. Oikeh received his medical degree at the University of Benin in Nigeria and a master’s degree in public health (MPH) at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed the Montgomery Family Medicine Residency Program at Baptist Health.
In his leisure time, he enjoys playing chess, curating music playlists to explore different genres and playing soccer, which he loves for its energy, teamwork and excitement. Dr. Oikeh likes to deepen his understanding of health and well-being by reading books about wellness and personal growth.
