Astrid G. Jain, MD

Dr. Jain is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN). She specializes in adolescent gynecology, contraceptive management and counseling, safe sex practices, preconceptual counseling, perimenopause, menopause, infertility and gynecological surgeries.

She has been named a Top Doctor by Charlotte Magazine and SouthPark Magazine for multiple years and has also been named a Charlotte Smarty Pants Best OB/GYN.

She was drawn to the diversity of the field and developing long-term relationships with women from adolescence through childbearing years and beyond. She has enjoyed the mix of spending time with patients in the office, caring for them in labor and performing surgical procedures.

She received her medical degree at Vanderbilt University and completed residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center. She is a fellow of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

She co-authored an article in the American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology titled, “Management of Low-Grade Squamous Intraepithelial Lesions during Pregnancy.”

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and their dog, Lucy. They love to spend time outside, walking, biking and gardening. They enjoy cooking and love to travel all around the country and the world. They are huge Carolina Panthers fans and never miss a home game.
