Dr. Aung Zin Phyo is trained in internal medicine. He focuses on diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular diseases.
Dr. Phyo chose his specialty because he enjoys treating the whole person, not just a particular illness or condition.
He received his medical degree at the University of Medicine 1 in Yangon, Myanmar, and completed residency in internal medicine at Nassau University Medical Center.
Dr. Phyo has many interests outside of work, including financial investing, theoretical physics, chemistry and keeping up to date on current medical treatments and recommendations. He also enjoys watching movies and TV shows and running while listening to music and news.
