I’m board certified in family medicine. In addition to traditional pharmaceutical approaches, I specialize in lifestyle medicine, which is the treatment of common chronic conditions such as diabetes, depression and high blood pressure with lifestyle modifications. These include using mindfulness and making dietary changes with a focus on plant-based eating. Additionally, I’m a licensed suboxone provider (a doctor who prescribes medications used to treat opioid addiction).
I received my medical degree at the University of Iowa.
In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities, such as mountain biking, hiking and walks at the park with my wife and our dog. I also enjoy gaming and traveling, locally and internationally.
