Benjamin Hurst is a physician assistant who specializes in hematology and oncology (cancer). He helps develop and manage treatment plans for patients with cancer and blood disorders.
At a young age, he always wanted to help people. As he grew older, he realized that entering the medical field was the best way he could do this.
He earned his graduate degree from Wake Forest University.
In addition to caring for patients, Hurst serves on Atrium Health's Care Alignment Tool Quality Improvement Committee. This committee works to improve care for patients in a variety of scenarios.
In his free time, Hurst enjoys spending time with his 2 children and wife. He also likes playing sports, doing outdoor activities and exercising.
