Dr. Kiselev is board certified in internal medicine and general psychiatry.
He is a consult liaison psychiatrist at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center. Additionally, he is an assistant professor in the Psycho-oncology Program in the Department of Supportive Oncology at Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute and an assistant professor in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Kiselev specializes in treating patients with complex medical comorbidities, including cancer, coinciding with psychiatric symptoms such as depression, anxiety, fatigue and pain. Dr. Kiselev has additional training in transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) for depression, medical assistance treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder, as well as cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I).
Dr. Kiselev enjoys practicing both psychiatry and internal medicine. He appreciates the interaction between a patient’s physical and mental health and believes in approaching patients from a holistic perspective that incorporates a consideration of their biology, psychology and social environment.
He received his medical degree and a certificate in translational research at Virginia Tech and completed his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina.
He enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, being outdoors and reading. He practices martial arts, including jiu-jitsu.
