“I enjoy helping people, whether that’s with the care I provide, education on their condition or listening to build rapport so patients feel their concerns are heard. I strive to make all my patients know they’ll receive exceptional care when they see me.”
Brandee Winkler is a board-certified physician assistant who focuses on orthopedics. She treats conditions of the hands, wrists, hips, knee, shoulders and elbows.
She previously worked as a radiology technician and became fascinated by the collaborative work environment. During her physician assistant training, Winkler discovered orthopedic patient care was the perfect match for her skills and interests.
Winkler received her bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology at East Carolina University and her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Away from work, she spends her leisure time with family and friends, especially her 2 children who love being outdoors, riding bikes, visiting the zoo, checking out new restaurants and staying active. In quieter moments, Winkler likes relaxing with a good book or a captivating TV show.
