Sorkin is a board-certified physician assistant. He chose family medicine because he enjoys treating acute and chronic conditions and encouraging his patients to live their healthiest lives. Family medicine is also all-encompassing and challenging, and he gets to really know his patients, while helping them grow and assisting them through their obstacles.
He received his degree in physician assistant studies from Lenoir-Rhyne University.
In his spare time, Sorkin plays rugby for the Charlotte Rugby Club. He enjoys exercising and training for triathlons. He also enjoys reading and spending time with family, friends, and his Boston terrier, Winston.
